MAIN SCREEN OVERVIEW

The icons on top are explained as follows
  • cash : pay by cash
  • check : pay by check
  • credit card : pay by credit card
  • debit card : pay by debit card

  • item lookup : find item to sell
  • item edit : edit/add/remove items
    		•

  • customer lookup : find customer to whom to sell
  • customer edit : edit/add/remove customers
    		•

  • delete : delete only one line selected
  • clear : cancel screen
    		•

  • closing report : show closing report
    		•

  • setup : customize the program
    		•

  • help : help menu
  • key : change user
  • exit : close the program
    		•

    The grid at the bottom enables you to type in the information for items being sold. 

    It is basically free formatted where you can move up, down, and sideways using the arrow keys,tab key or your mouse. 

    Most of the time, you can scan itemcode on ITEMCODE column and add quantity on QTY column, etc.

    Each columns are explained as follow
  • itemcode : itemcode to scan or type
  • desc : item description
  • qty : item quantity
  • price : retail price or wholesale price
  • discount : % of discount from price
  • p : price level
  • extended : extended price (price x qty)
